About

Built for authors who treat books like projects.

EffortlessAuthor is a file-first authoring studio for Kindle-ready books. We're building it in the open, for writers who care about control and production quality.

Most writing tools treat a book as a single opaque document — easy to start, hard to trust by the time it reaches Kindle Direct Publishing. The manuscript is done, but the file isn't dependable: formatting becomes a late-stage surprise, AI-assisted drafts scatter, and metadata, series, and source files drift out of sync.

EffortlessAuthor takes the opposite approach. Every chapter is a real Markdown file in a transparent project folder, beside its sources, style guide, cover, and exports. From that single source of truth, the studio gives you a structured editor, KDP-aware validation, metadata preparation, EPUB export, version history, and narrated audio.

It's an honest tool. We say KDP-aware, not "guaranteed approval." We prepare the artifacts KDP expects and flag what needs review — then leave you in control of the final upload.

What we believe

A book should be a repository, not a document.

Manuscripts deserve the same durability as code: real files, clear structure, and history you can trust.

AI authors need production systems, not bigger prompts.

Coherent books come from stable sources, style guides, and inspectable chapters — not from longer chat threads.

KDP formatting is software quality assurance.

The last mile of self-publishing is operational. We treat export like a build: validated, repeatable, reviewable.

A note on our name

We're still finalizing the public brand — you may see this product as EffortlessAuthor or EasyEnochian as we approach launch. The studio and its file-first principles stay the same either way. Join early access and you'll be the first to know.
